This one day project was about personifying data and the anthropomorphisation of simple web-based sensors. The data should have an emotional effect on the user. Both shapes and movements are programmed in Javascript.

By using and speeding up a real input from an email inbox, the program generates a fly every time an email is received. The flies will multiply in number and so will their buzzing sound. They have a will of their own, cannot fly into each other, nor escape the screen boundaries. After a while this will feel extremely annoying and the user will have to read their email in order to make the flies disappear.
